So interesting ideas come to you while typing up a blog during a study group that you don't even belong to. The blog is now under new management and finally my plans can come into action. First off I want to say thank you to all the officers that helped create and manage this blog before I took control for the hard work and effort they put into making it awesome.

So, there's some news to go over really quick! First the changes to the blog. Now that it's under new management I would like to try a few things out depending on how well received and active this becomes. All the other officers who had access to this blog will still have access and freedom to post at their leisure, and depending on comment activity and post content I may allow certain members access to post thoughts, opinions, and news of their own.

Some things that will be staying the same, however! One really good idea that we had was the monthly art display as the background. I love the idea of showing off our members hard work and hope that we get many submissions, so don't be shy! If there's ANYTHING anime related that you've done that you're proud of feel free to send it to me. At the beginning of each month we'll have a new featured piece of art from a random person. And to make sure it isn't biased I would like to include the other officers in the decision process.

Another thing I'd like to do depending on how active this blog gets would be to incorporate a sort of "Fan fiction" featurette that will have either a link to a members fan fiction that they've submitted or actually have the full story on the blog. I know there are quite a few amazing writers out there, and considering the nature of our club, I'm sure there would be a large portion of people excited to read it.

Now! For official club news! Thank you all for attending Thursdays closing social and being such good sports with the fan dubs. We really do have some ridiculously talented voice actors. a quick shout out to our girls for being amazing! I'm being honest when I say that those voices were professional material. Rumors have been circulating that Blaine wants to do more fan dubs over the summer, so stay posted!

As for the schedule over the summer. Officially the club isn't meeting, however impromptu, or just for fun meetings will be going on over the summer for those of you that are staying. So don't lock yourself in your room! Many more fun events are coming up!

And lastly, if some of you have been keeping up with the posts on the UtakuUSU page on facebook, you may have seen some of my absolutely astounding posts duely named "Snuggy Bear's Anime of the Week." Just so you know, that will no longer be happening on that page, rather, it will be happening on this page, and instead of a little quip about the show, I'll do an actual review for each one. No spoilers, just critiques on design, character flow and development, and overall quality.

Anyhow, that's all I have for now. This is the first completed Snuggy-Post! Hope we can make things more fun than they already are!

Greetings Otakus and Otakettes! Name's Snuggy Bear, or, if you want to get more formal, Bowflex Bob will suffice. On this blog I will be reviewing everything Otaku! From games to movies to... you guessed it the main course, anime! for the most part this will be focused on different anime series, the pro's, the con's, personal opinion as well as show inserts where I can find them!

But why will your reviews be so much better than anyone else's, you ask? What's stopping me from going to Otaku-forever's blog page and reading his reviews?

O-ho, amazing question, reader! With an even more amazing answer. Because it's done by me! Not only that, but if hearing my voice isn't enough for you, I'm going to make it so that your voice will be heard as well. That's right, don't take my word for it, take everybody in the forum's word for it! (just make sure mine carries the most weight. ;D)
